MBIA Conference to Feature Karma Yacht Sales’ Lou Sandoval as Speaker on Emerging Markets.

(CHICAGO, IL) – The Michigan Boating Industries Association (MBIA) announced that Karma Yacht Sales Co-Owner/Co-Founder Lou Sandoval will present on outreach to emerging markets at their Recreational Boating Educational Conference (RBEC) on December 10, 2015 in Lansing, MI.  His presentation – “The World Outside Your Harbor:  Emerging markets and how to make sure you are effectively reaching them with your marine business”- takes a look at extending the invitation to discover boating beyond individuals already in the sport and how it can drive market share growth for marine dealers.  The conference runs from December 9-10, 2015 at the Radisson Hotel at the Capitol.  The conference offers a diverse slate of speakers presenting topics that are impacting the marine industry.   RBEC draws marine industry professionals from around the State of Michigan and surrounding states.

Mr. Sandoval brings a non-traditional perspective to participating in boating.   He serves on several industry-wide boards and committees that are proactively addressing the growth of boating. Having been exposed to the sport of sailing in his youth, Lou really came to love it as an adult.    On the professional front, Lou serves on the board of Sail America, The Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation and the Recreational Boating Leadership Council among many others.  He has been recognized for his service on many on-the-water events including the Chicago Yacht Club- Race to Mackinac which he chaired.  Lou serves as the Rear Commodore on the Board of Directors of Chicago Yacht Club.
