While many Chicago Sailors were dreaming of sailing during the winter month of March, Chicagoan Steve Pelke, (owner of the First 40.7- Barracuda) was actually living the dream.
Pelke took his 40.7 down to the Acura Miami Race week March 9-12 in Miami Beach, FL.
Steve was interviewed for a special that was aired on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN) covering the Miami Race week. The special was narrated by Gary Jobson.
The crew of Barracuda (composed mostly of Chicago sailors) was recognized as ‘most improved’ for the Regatta having raced in the PHRF 2 section.
