Growing up in Chicago, I quickly became tired of the same old summer camps, and playing the same old games. When I was eight, I discovered sailing camp, there were new people and no red-rover, and I was hooked. The joy of being out on the water, and controlling my own destiny at such a young age was a thrill, and a feel I have yet to let go of. Optimist dinghy's turned into 420's and then Laser's.
