The Chicago Mac Cruising Division starts today and the racing division will follow tomorrow. There are 51 Beneteaus registered in the race, including 22 36.7s, 14 40.7s, 4 10Rs and 2 44.7s. There are 20 boats in the 36.7 class, as 2 boats have elected to sail in the double handed division. The 36.7 class is the second largest one design class in the race, following only the Tarten Ten class.
